«Stets gegen Krebs» is a charity concert for the German Cancer Society (Deutsche Krebshilfe). Studio Una from Hamburg developed a small and simplistic identity that consists of a striking, left-leaning font and a vibrant flexible color system. The focal point of the design is a minimalistic logo which refers to the design scheme of the whole identity.
Early Viscvle Idea
Studio Una from Hamburg was commissioned to develop a visual identity for the small string orchestra „Concerto Elmshorn“. They chose a font that is both unique and highly recognizable and that can be used for striking headlines. The vertical logo is designed for optimal recognition and use of space on print pieces. It can be reduced to a signet that consists of the initials of the orchestra.
The UCI Velothon majors are a worldwide cycling series that takes place in major cities. Studio Una from Hamburg developed the umbrella brand for the individual events which communicates the charm of a global sporting event as well as plays with familiar elements from cycling. The logo is a combination of the five continents represented by five colored rings, the word mark of the international governing body of cycling, the UCI and the Velothon logo. The colored rings representing the continents are a dynamic and flexible design component that reoccurring across various applications.
Circle Pattern Test
Gagel is a local artist from Pinneberg who - in her own words — «answers questions that she herself has raised with her art». For the exhibit «Halb Weg – Ganz da», she documented the architectural change in Pinneberg 20 years ago. In 2012, she returned to the same locations to document the changes again. Studio Una from Hamburg designed the poster artwork, leaflets as well as a catalog for the exhibit at Pinneberg Museum.
Comm-Press is a Hamburg-based web developer specializing in the CMS Drupal. Studio Una from Hamburg developed Comm-Press’ visual identity and created the agency’s online appearance. Studio Una transferred the idea of Drupal’s modularity to the design concept and designed two fonts which build the base of the corporate identity. The website is designed for both customers and the Drupal community. It combines the agency’s portfolio with social media activities, blog posts and agency related information on the home page.
Swim is a brand designed for swimmers by Studio Una from Hamburg. The goal was to create a fresh and energetic lifestyle brand which finds itself in a minimalistic and pure branding concept. After the visual creation of the brand, an extensive news website was launched. The second issue of the special interest magazine «Swim» was already published in 2013. The logotype was set in a rounded font and perfectly complements the bold cut of the font to generate contrastive headlines.
New Alphabet Wordical Layout
Nehle Mallasch is the organizer of cultural projects such as the „Unart Festival“ at the Thalia Theater or the „Stamp Festival“ in Hamburg. Her involvement in the cultural field is very diverse. To express this diversity, Studio Una from Hamburg developed a simple yet flexible visual identity for the small business. The logo as central component of the visual identity combines the wide range of cultural projects and visually condenses them into “One” via a dot.
